Summer Edition

Registration is now open for the Grand Rapids Urban Adventure Race: Summer Edition, brought to you by Michigan Adventure Racing!

Riverside Park will be the start and finish of an epic day of adventure racing on July 14. We’ll hit the river for some canoeing, head back to downtown GR for some running and Amazing Race-type challenges, and explore a sweet natural area for a mix of easy and challenging orienteering. Eight-hour teams will experience a heavier dose of biking and canoeing along with some swamp action and tougher orienteering.

• Location: Riverside Park, Grand Rapids
• Length: 4 or 8 hours
• Disciplines: Amazing Race-type challenges, running, biking, canoeing and orienteering with basic compass use
• Cost:
  ~4-hour: $59 per person ($118 per team) early bird, including canoe, PFDs, paddles
  ~8-hour, own canoe: $85 per person ($170 per team) early bird ($10 more after early bird)
  ~8-hour, rent canoe: $99 per person ($198 per team) early bird ($10 more after early bird)
